A Baribroussa Ram
Originated in 1786 when the French (Louis XVI) received a gift of over 300 Spanish Rams from the King of Spain. The flock was developed on an experimental Royal farm not far from Paris. Out crossed with English long-wools, this defined breed stouts larger bodies and is noted for thicker wool than other breeds. The horns are very impressive with a general curl to 1 ½ curl on average. These awesome rams run in herds, grouped together which can create power in numbers.

Corsican Rams
The Corsican Rams are a hybrid sheep that originated in southern plains area along the same time as the Texas Dall Sheep. These however are a very diverse species that are generally brown in color with a black or white underbody. They can also carry a long beard or “ruff.” The horns can be tightly curled or sometimes you will find a wide flare. These animals make very impressive mounts.

The Texas Dall Ram
The Texas Dall as its name implies originated in Texas in the 1960’s. It is a hybrid sheep with a magnificent set of horns that usually curl 1 ½ times on average. A large ram will weigh about 125-145 pounds. They are generally white or off white in color and can also have a beard.

Black Hawaiian— Black Hawaiian Rams are very similar in size and horn shape as the Texas Dall, however they are black in color and occasionally appear to have a reddish hair due to sun exposure. These are rarer than other species of sheep because of their interesting beginnings. Pirates and primitive sailors from the Far East occasionally would leave these animals behind on the Hawaiian Islands so they could enjoy fresh meat on long journeys across the Pacific.

Blackbuck Antelope—The blackbuck antelope are native to the warm climates of India and reproduce well in the southern climates of North America. The black buck as its name implies gets darker as he matures. They are born blonde on their backs with a
white underbody. Around 3 years of age they turn black on their back showing maturity. The horns are very unique with a spiraling ring horn of 3-4 turns.

Mouflon Ram—The Mouflon Ram origins begin in the Mediterranean Islands of Sardinia, Corsica, and Cyprus. Being a mountain sheep, they develop a thick coat of under wool in the colder months. They were introduced in the mountains of Central Europe and adapted very well. The mouflon are easily distinguished by the heart shaped horns and a white saddle across its back. They are generally reddish brown in color with dark stripping down the neck and shoulders. Full blooded Mouflon Rams are very rare, most are hybrid with distinguishing colors and possible “heart shaped” horns.

Aoudad--- The Barbary Sheep also known as Aoudad is an African animal that resembles a goat-like antelope. Found in mountain areas of North Africa, they can weigh up to 300 lbs. They are light brown in color and are known for their long impressive chaps flowing down their front legs. Aoudads are usually mounted in full to show off their chaps.

Angora Goat—The Angora is a goat from the Angora Region in Anatolia, near present day Ankara, Turkey. Their hair is long and curly, named mohair. Their very nice long horns make an excellent trophy to put on the wall.

Elk—Elk are a large framed animal standing as tall as 5 feet at the shoulder. The bulls can average around 800 lbs in weight and have large antlers that can grow up to 60” long.
During the elks mating season, the bulls will let you know by sounding off with intense bugling. This is quite a treat if you are lucky enough to witness it.

Red Stag-- The Red Deer are the European cousin of our North American Elk. The males are called Stags, so they are often referred to as Red Stag. This animal is very majestic in stature weighing around 500 lbs. They have a reddish-brown color with the neck showing a long ruff. The antlers are very stunning with numerous tines on each side. The mature stag have 3 or more points on the tip of the antler signifying a “crown.” This is the royal trophy as they are very impressive on the wall.

Buffalo—Also known as the American Bison, the buffalo originated in Eurasia. It is now the largest “native” mammal in North America. The Bison can tower upwards of 6 feet tall and 10 feet long with an average weight of 1200-1500lbs. The head and front quarter are massively huge and both the male and female have curved horns with sharp points for fighting. The bison are especially noted for their hide and meat. Their meat is very healthy with lower fat and cholesterol than beef.

Fallow Deer—Fallow Deer is a ruminant mammal that belongs in the cerviade family. There are three main colors of fallow deer with the common spotted (brown with white spots), solid white, or chocolate. The antlers which are very impressive are broad and palmatted when mature. The fallow are native to most of Europe while most dense in Mediterranean regions. The Romans brought Fallow to Great Britain and Ireland for hunting in “Royal Forests”, then introduced later in the Americas.

Sika Deer—The Sika Deer which has antlers similar in shape to an elk, but has a smaller body size than elk or other deer species. Originating in Central Asian regions the sika has spread throughout the world for their ability to adapt to varied climates. The sika is regarded as one of the finest and most flavorful of all game meats at the dinner table.
Axis Deer—The Axis Deer originated in areas near India, SriLanka, Nepal and Bangladesh. The coat is reddish brown and marked with white spots. They shed their antlers annually on their birthday, which is different from most other deer species. These animals make an outstanding trophy.
